Down with a flu, what am I to do

Stuck on my bed, whole day yesterday

Sneezing, coughing, freezing

Walking like an old lady!

It is trying, even reaching for a cup

What am I to do, down with a flu

Convinced myself I'm tough,

But on boy, some days are rough!

Trying not to be glued to bed,

I took out my writing pad and here I start.

Down with a flu, what am I to do

I get sick a lot now, I think I'm old

This feels like a prick, makes me so weak

Man, I got phlegm of different colors

That of banana tress and leaves and fruits!

Down with a flu, what am I to do

Told myself I'll be just fine

So, I don't start to whine

My nasal sounds now replace my ryhmes

I took lemons in firms trying to get rid of germs

Down with a flu, what am I to do

I remain sober even when it's hard

So I try to write I think it's an art

My rhymes don't fly now

The beats are lousy

But this is my escape, so I chill a little.
